Install InvoiceFlash on Windows with XAMPP

1. Download and unzip XAMPP

We have prepared a portable version of XAMPP for Windows 11, which includes Apache, PHP, MariaDB and the latest version of InvoiceFlash. Please note that it will not work on 32-bit systems. Download this file and unzip it on your desktop.

2. Run VC_redist.x64

Open the xampp folder, double-click the VC_redist.x64 file and install the software.

3. Run setup_xampp

Click the setup_xampp file and then press Enter.

4. Run xampp-control

Right-click the xampp-control file and select Run as administrator.

Click the Service checkboxes of Apache and MariaDB (shown as MySQL in the XAMPP panel) to register these services with the operating system.

Click the Config button, tick the Apache and MariaDB checkboxes and press the Save button. This lets the services start automatically when XAMPP opens.

Finally, click the Start buttons of the Apache and MariaDB services.

5. Go to http://localhost/invoiceflash

Open the browser and type http://localhost/invoiceflash in the address bar to access InvoiceFlash. The installer will appear. You do not need to change any value: just press the Accept button.

6. User and password

When it asks for a user and password, type admin as the user and admin as the password.

Remember

You have installed InvoiceFlash on your PC. You can access it from your PC by opening the browser and typing http://localhost/invoiceflash in the address bar. By default the user is admin and the password is admin. If you change it, try to remember it.

If you install InvoiceFlash on your PC, the data is stored on your PC and only there. Nothing is saved or synchronised with the InvoiceFlash website, and the user you use in your InvoiceFlash has no relation to it. It is a completely independent system.
